With Galaxy

Directed by Matteo Burani
Animated by Arianna Gheller
Director of Photography: Corrado Zito

#withGalaxy was a promotional campaign for the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone. Fruits and everyday objects float through space like planets in a galaxy, dancing to a waltz and transforming one by one, deconstructing and recomposing frame by frame. Shot with the Galaxy S21 Ultra in 8K using super stabilization, super zoom and director mode, the stop-motion sequences were created with stratacut animation, cutting thin layers from objects to reveal their inner structure and generate hypnotic movements.
