All in a Days Work

All in a Day’s Work is a stop-motion series for Mailchimp, directed by Effie Pappa and produced by It’s Nice That, A Running Commentary, and Takes2 Productions. These puppets were built with an internal hybrid armature made of aluminum wire and steel ball-and-socket joints. Their aesthetic was stylized yet detailed to function as human-like characters aligned with the director’s vision. We used felt for the skin, wool for the hair, and various fabrics for the costumes. The construction ensured flexibility and stability, while the materials allowed the puppets to convey emotion through subtle movement.
